Q: How often is Xero data updated in Fathom?

With Fathom Xero integration, your company data can be automatically updated from your accounting system once every 24 hours before 8 am AEST. However, if you made changes within the source, you don't need to wait for the next day to update your data in Fathom. Instead, you can go to the company's step 1 and initiate a manual update by clicking the 'Update from Xero' button.

What is Fathom for Xero?

With Fathom, you’ll get access to relevant insights and help clients with management reporting and cash flow forecasting and be an integral part of their business success.

To import a Xero company into Fathom, log into your Fathom account or start a subscription and go to the ‘My Companies’ page.

How do I connect Xero to Fathom?

Integrating Fathom’s consolidation software for Xero is easy, by following these simple steps:

Select the green ‘Add’ button inthe upper right corner of the ‘My Companies’ page
Choose ‘Company’
In the menu that opens, select ‘Xero’
Then select ‘Connect to Xero’
You will be prompted to log in to Xero using your Xero username and password.

The first time Fathom connects to your Xero organisation, you must authorise Fathom to access your data from Xero. You’ll only need to do this once for each Xero organisation.

Fathom has a direct integration with Xero, and those with Advisor or Standard-level permissions in Xero can import data into Fathom.

Does Fathom support multiple Xero accounts?

With Fathom’s Xero consolidation software solution, you can bring together data from multiple sources, including multiple Xero accounts, and other integrations such as MYOB, QuickBooks and Sage 50.

Single Sign On (SSO) enables you to use a single login to sign into multiple platforms. Fathom allows you to authorise Xero and/or Intuit QuickBooks SSO for your Fathom account so you can log in to Fathom with your Xero or Intuit credentials.
