Who is it for?

The course is tailored to accountants seeking to improve their knowledge of Fathom and gain confidence across the app. You can also take advantage of the course if you work in a business.

From those who have just started with Fathom through to experienced users, the course provides fresh insights for all stages of the Fathom journey.

There are no prerequisites or necessary advanced preparation for this course.

What does the course cover?

The course covers all elements of Fathom from the basics of setting up, to three-way cash flow forecasting. There are five sections in total, each containing between 1-12 modules.

Learning Objectives:
- Identify the functional areas of Fathom, where financial and non-financial data can be sourced and updated from, and which data can be accessed by specific user permissions
- Identify the options available for customising a company or group’s Chart of Accounts and KPIs, exchange rates, and performing eliminations adjustments
- Recognize the types of information accessible in the Fathom Analysis tools
- Identify the options available for referencing and reporting on financial and non-financial data within Fathom and customising & sharing reports
- Identify the types of forecast that can be created in Fathom, which information is accessible in a forecast, and various ways in which a forecast can be customised or calculated

How do I sign up?

If you already have a Fathom account, log into your account at app.fathomhq.com and select the ‘?’ icon in the black bar at the top of the page. Then select ‘Certification’ from the drop down menu to create a Certification account and register for the course.

If you do not yet have a Fathom account, create a free 14 day trial account (no payment information necessary) at app.fathomhq.com/signup. Once you’ve created a trial account, log into Fathom at app.fathomhq.com and select the ‘?’ icon in the black bar at the top of the page. Then select ‘Certification’ from the drop down menu to create a Certification account and register for the course.
